Job Description:

Are you a compassionate and caring individual looking to make a difference in the lives of seniors and others in need of extra help with daily tasks?  Join our team at Sunshine Coast Senior Care as a Home Caregiver Assistant! In this role, you will provide essential support to our clients by assisting with non-medical tasks and so promoting their overall well-being.  


– Confident yet compassionate with a strong desire to help others.
– Independent, highly personable, organizational skills, attention to detail and able to follow protocols and client care plans. 
– Maintain strict confidentiality of clients, their family members, caregivers, and co-workers.
– Prior experience in caregiving, including housekeeping/cleaning is a plus but not required.
– Current Vulnerable Population Criminal Records and Reference Checks.
– Min. Class 5 drivers license and reliable vehicle (company vehicle may be available).
– Current CPR and First Aid certificates, or registered for the course.
– Conversational English skills – additional languages are an asset.


– Up-to $500 signing bonus, attractive extended benefits plan, travel pay, competitive wage, and potential staff housing right candidates.
– $22 to $28/hour starting depending on qualifications/experience, with graduated compensation plan that generously rewards teamwork, dedication, reliability, and going above and beyond for clients and co-workers.
